Climate
Malta has an excellent climate, with temperatures reaching up to 35°C (95°F) during the midsummer months (July to August), as well as during the hot African 'Sirocco' winds.
The lowest average daily high temperature, approximately 15°C (59°F), occurs during January. Rainfall is heaviest from November to February, although it is low all year-round.
Most people begin swimming around May, the sea remaining warm until the end of September.
